The Scientific and Technical Commission.The STC
The Scientific and Technical Commission is composed of members from different sectors, appointed respectively by their supervising authorities for a renewable three 03 year term. It is chaired by the Director of Quality and Consumption at the Ministry of Internal Trade and National Market Regulation.
The Scientific and Technical Commission of the center provides opinions on:
- - * Draft legislative and regulatory texts of a scientific and technical nature related to the quality of goods and services ;
- - * Intersectoral coordination of scientific and technical actions related to national quality objectives ;
- - * Annual and multi annual scientific and technical research plans ;
- - * Requests for authorization to open and operate quality analysis laboratories ;
- - * Requests for prior authorization for the manufacture and import of cosmetic and personal hygiene products ;
- - * Requests for prior authorization for the manufacture and import of toxic products and/or products presenting a particular risk.
Procedure for submitting files
The file submission procedure is carried out at the Wilaya level Commerce Directorates territorially competent, which then forward them to the Secretariat of the Scientific and Technical Commission at the Algerian Center for Quality Control and Packaging (CACQE) for processing and presentation to the commission.
